As u all know that English is studied in many different ways , and by using different curriculum,even the same country uses different curriculum at each university:study: ..

In this thread we are going 2 introduce our curriculum to each other ..in order to recognize what others study ..

hmmm .. I'll start first ..:cool:

First I would like to introduce the university I study at ..

It's Sultan Qaboos University..

and here is a picture for it..

This book is British survey .. we study the British literature( poetry,stories, plays and so on)

it's not boring ,but moooooooooore than boring .. :039:

it has many Latin words ..:036:

I strongly hate it ..

This is the wonderful course I have ever which is Speaking ..

although it needs hard work ,I love it ..:032:

Reading ..

the only thing I can tell u about it is that I got a" D" ..:01:

Research Skills ..

it's a sort of writing .. very difficult subject and the tests are more difficult than the subject .. I think it will make me crazy ..:031:

Last but not least ..

American Survey ..

very interesting .. although the instructor call Mr.F since every semester about 4 or5 fail in this course :031:,alhmdllah I got some good grades ..:015:

OOh yaa about the course .. it's similar to British Survey but the difference is that in American we study American literature:097:

it's really interesting .. we also look at the history of America and how it was established ..

I am gona write the boring stuff ( n sha Allah) I were studying ,,
But from where shall I start ?? It was a long 4 years with many many courses,,
Really that what make me take so long time to replay ,,I delay ït every day~~> Iam not lazy, am I?? haha:)

we take2 courses one about theory
translation and the other translation text stories etc

ok I study at Taibah Collage in Taibah of course
I ahave graduated from English department one year ago.
Thats mean that this is my second year sitting in haome doing nothing
and I was worried about forgetten what I have studied.

It was hard to remember all the stuff I study, so I have go back to my books @ notebooks ( under my bed I keep it and I couldn't throw it >> I think I fell in love with it;):adore: lololol )

I studied many plays such as As you like it , Hamlet, Macbeth ........etc
it was a boring course in the first and the second year but then we start to act the plays ourself and display our point of view which make it very interesing although it needs a lot of hard work and search.

I remember that we took it in our first year which was a shock 4 a very beginners students
i studied many of a boring prose texts like Heart of darkness, Pride and prejudice, Great Expectation.Great Expectation was a god one honestly. I made a very well research about Great Expectation's main character ( Pip).and I took A
　

Poetry
I took this course with a great skilled doc indeed . so I enjoyed that coursed
our first poem was The Eagle which I couldn't forget.
then we went deeply into the poems and we learn how 2 divided it into stanzas >>interesting

I hate it the most , I studied how the English have changed from many centuries in the past

Really I feel as if I returned many years ago:p
