Wheels for David
Three little wheels!” said David.”I know just what I ll do with them. Thank you, dad. I like wheels.”
David got a box, some nails, and tools and went to work. Soon he had made a small car for him self.
Up and down the sidewalk went David in his car. He didn’t stop until he heard his mother calling him.
“Mother!”Cried David “how do you like my three-wheeled car? Did you see how fast it goes?”
“Yes, I did,” said his mother. “Is it fast enough to get you here in time for a good lunch?”
“Oh, yes,” answered David. “It s fast enough for that. Here I come!”
After lunch David went all around the neighbor hood in his car. Suddenly he made a quick turn and banged right into a tree .one front wheel of the car came off and rolled a way. David couldn’t get it, and so he had only two wheels left.”I can’t ride in a car that has only two wheels,”
He thought to himself.”But I know what I can do with my car. First I ll have to go home and get some more nails and aboard.”
It did not take long for david to nail a board on the box and move one wheel. Then he went to the back door, pulling a two-wheeled cart behind him.
“Mother!” called david.”how do you like my two-wheeled cart?
“it is not as fast as a three-wheeled car. But it is a handy thing to have.”
“it is handy enough to bring cookies from the store?” asked his mother “oh,yes,it is handy enough for that, “answered David.
At the end of the day David started to put his cart away . as he picked it up, one of the wheelsfell off and rolled under some leaves.
David did not see where the wheel went. He looked and looked, but he could not find it. So he had only one wheel left.
The next day he thought of something to make just one wheel to another place on the box. He took off one board and nailed on two.
Then he to the door to show his one-wheeled cart to his mother.
“Mother!”Cried david.”how do you like my one-wheeled cart?
“it is not as fast as three –wheeled car .
“it is not as handy as a two- wheeled cart.
But it is useful.”
“Is it useful enough to help me?”Asked David s mother.” can it take old papers out to the street?”
“Oh, yes,”said David. This cart is useful enough for that.”
One David s last trip with the papers, the cart turned over. Its one wheel came off and rolled into the street. A big truck ran over the wheel before David could get it.
“My last wheel is gone” said David.
“All I have left is my box.”
David put the box near the back door. That night it rained and turned cold.
By morning the rain had turned to ice.
When david saw the ice , he hurried to get dressed. Then he ran outside.
David s mother looked out and saw her son swishing over the ice. Soon he came to a stop by the door.
“Mother!”He called.” how do you like my no-wheeled flyer?
“it is not as fast as three –wheeled car .
“it is not as handy as a two- wheeled cart.
“it is not as useful as a one-wheeled cart.
But it is just right when I want to slide on the ice

Tommy s valentinesEllen farmer and her mother were busy getting ready for valentine s day. Ellen was busy cutting out valentines for her friends at school. Her brother Tommy was watching her work. Her mother was busy in the bedroom. She was making a dress for Ellen for the school party.
Soon a neighbor came to the door.
“Come in,” said Ellen to Mrs. Swan. “See the valentines I am making.”
Mrs. Swan said, “I have been making valentines, too. But I put my valentines in the oven to bake. Would you children like some of them?”
Ellen and Tommy each ate a cookie. Then their mother came to ask Ellen to try on her dress. Mrs. Farmer ate a cookie, too. After that she and Ellen and neighbor went into the bedroom.
When the others had gone, little Tommy looked at the cookies that were left. He ate one. Then he ate the last two.
“M-m-m! I like cookies” he said.
Tommy wanted more cookies, and he thought he would try to get some. Off he ran to the kitchen.
Soon Ellen came from the bedroom to make the valentines.
“Mother!”She cried. “What happened to all my valentines? I cut out lots and lots of them, but there are only four here now.”
Her mother and Mrs. Swan came to help look for the missing valentines.
“I wonder what happened to them,” said Mrs. Swan.
Mrs. Farmer said, “maybe Tommy took them. Maybe he is playing a game with them. Go find him, Ellen.”
Ellen ran to look for her little brother and found him in the kitchen.
“Mother!” called Ellen. “Tommy is here in the kitchen. Come quick!”
Mrs. Farmer and Mrs. Swan hurried to the kitchen as fast as they could.
“look in the oven!” cried Ellen. “My paper valentines are in the oven.”
“dear me!” said Mrs. Farmer.”I am glad that the oven was not turned on. I wonder why tommy decided to put the valentines in there.”
Tommy had a happy look on his face.
“Cookies!” he said. “Cookies!”
“Oh, mother!”Laughed Ellen.”I think Tommy wanted to bake my valentines! He heard Mrs. swan say that she put her valentines in the oven the bake. So he though he could make cookies out of my paper valentines.”
“Tommy,” said Mrs. Swan, “why do not you and your sister come home with me?
We will bake more valentine cookies. My valentines are much better to eat than paper ones!”……(f)

طويلة و مغرورة
Indeed your Short stories are very nice and amazing , But I agree with Green Salad and Amoula , You don't need to put each story in new subject
I suggest to put all your Stories In the Library , it would be very kind of you sweety

No noise, please!
“How pretty everything looks!”Cried jill.”who is coming to dinner?”
“You aunt Jane and your uncle bob, “answered Jill’s mother.
“I am glad they are coming, “said Jill.
“May I help you get dinner ready?”
“I won’t need any help in the kitchen for awhile,” said Mrs. Street. “But I do need some things from the store. I wrote them down for you Jill.”
Mrs. Street gave Jill some money and said,”I’ve been busy all day, so I’m a little tired. I think I’ll rest while you are gone. I went to get some rest before your brothers get home .they will be coming from school before long, too.”
Mrs. Street went into her bedroom.
Jill started out the front door. Then she came back into the house . She wrote a note and put it on the door .then once more she started off to the store.
After resting for a while, Mrs. Street decided to get up and dress.
Soon she heard footsteps and went to see who had come in how surprised she was to find Aunt Jane and uncle bob sitting in the living room!
The boys were there, too. Jack was sitting near his aunt, whispering to her.
Jim was whispering to uncle bob.
“Hello, there,” whispered aunt Jane when she looked up and saw Mrs. Street.
“We came a little early.’
Uncle Bob whispered, “We opened the door and walked right in.”
Mrs. Street began to whisper because the other whispering.”I didn’t hear the doorbell, “she whispered.”I wonder how that happened.”
Uncle Bob whispered, “We didn’t ring the bell. We didn’t want to make any noise. The boys were quiet, too, when they come in.”
“Why are all of you being so quite?”Whispered Mrs. Street.
“Because, “answer Aunt Jane in a whisper, “there is note on the door telling us to be quite.”
“A note!” cried Mrs. Street with a look of surprise on her face.”I don’t know anything about a note. Who wrote it?
Is it still on the door?”
Everyone went outside and looked at the note on the front door.
Uncle Bob said, “we did just what this note told us to do. That’s why we opened the door and walked in.”
Mrs. Street cried,”jill wrote that note!
“I wonder why she wrote it.”
Jill came up the steps just then and heard what her mother said.
Jill said, “I’ll tell you why I wrote the note ,mother. I wanted the boys to be quite while you rested.”
Uncle Bob smiled at jill.”that was a very kind thing to do, “he said. “but I’m glad to know that I don’t have to keep on whispering.”
Jim cried, “mow we can make a lots of noise!whe-e-e!”
“whe-e-e!”Shouted jack.
“oh,please,boys!not so much noise!”
Said Mrs. Street.”Maybe I should leave that note on the door all the time

For a rainy day
“look at that blue plane, tom,”said bill stone. “It’s only a dime. I think I’ll go home and get some money out of my bank and come back and buy it. Will you go with me?”
“I can’t, answered tom snow.”I told my mother I would come home and clean my room after school.”
Bill said good-by to his friend and ran home to get a dime.
Just as bill gave his bank a shake, his mother walked into his room.
“I wish I could open this bank, “he said. “Then I could get the money out of it fast. I saw a little blue plane for a decided to by it.”
Bill gave his bank another shake, and a dime fell out.
“Stop and think for a minute, bill, “said his mother. “Do you really want that plane?
“If you take money out of your bank every time you want something, you’ll never save penny. You should keep money in your bank for a rainy day.”
“a rainy day! “ cried bill with a look of surprise on his face. “Do you mean I have to wait until it rains before I can buy that plane?”
Mrs. Stone smiled and said,”no,son. That’s not what I mean. To save for a rainy day means to keep some money for a time when you may really need it.”
After a minute bill put his dime back in his bank.
“I see what you mean, mother,” he said.”I guess I don’t really need that blue plane. I just happened to see it and thought I wanted it. But I don’t need it. I’ll save my dime.”
On Saturday, bill and his father went to the big bank where Mr. stone saved his money.
While they were there, a man handed a penny bank to bill. “I’m sure you like to save pennies, “said the man. “Here is a penny bank for you.”
“Thank you!” said bill.”I have one bank that I got for my birthday. But I know I can use another bank.”
Many days went by. Bill saved money in both his banks.
One Saturday morning tom called bill on the telephone. Tom said, “I’m going to a show today. Ask your mother if you can go, too.’
Bill asked his mother if he could go.
Then he said, “you don’t have to give me any money.i’ve saved enough money for a show.’
“All right, bill,” his mother said with a smile.”I you may go. But are you sure you want to use your rainy –day money for a show?”
Bill said,”oh, I’m not going to use any of the money in my rainy-day bank have another bank. I save pennies in it, and I use the pennies for thing I just want. I’ll get both my banks and show them to you, mother.”
A way ran bill to his room to get his two banks.’ the bank that I got for my birthday is my rainy-day bank,” said bill.”I save money in it for a rainy day.
“But I decided that I need some money for a sunny. I decided to save all my pennies for thing I just want. This penny bank is my sunny-day bank.”
Bill laughed and began to shake pennies out of his sunny-day bank.
“Right now I want to go to the show with tom, “he said. “There is enough money in my penny bank to take me. So that makes today a very sunny day!”(f)(y)
