diffrince btwen skimming and scaning

Whats the diffrent between skimming and scaning ?


Scaning :
Is ahigh-speed reading.When u scan you must have a question in u r mind.You dont have to read every word you read only the words that answer the question. when u scan a text u move ur eyes over it quiqly in order to find somthin specifc . when u r scaning u hv 2 look for example (names,places,dates,numbers n the most important thing is speed !))

Skimming
reading very quiqly.
its iv volues seective reading of the most important part of the text in order
1-to find out hw the text organise tht us the way its divided into sections or pharagraphs
2-get a genral idea of the text about
